Hi, I’m new here! Quick question for the group: on a scale of 0 to 10, how often have you run into doctors claiming false knowledge about your condition? I’d love to hear your experiences.
I have autoimmune conditions. I have not run into doctors claiming false knowledge. I did have my rheumatologist try to claim that I had fibromyalgia. A change of medication to something that actually worked had her change that claim

Thank you for sharing. Everything reduced to fibromyalgia seems to be a common one. Happened to three people I can think of. Growing up I mainly encountered Doctors who forget systemic brain conditions contribute to ocular issues. The false expertise was last year in emergency Neurology.
That’s very problematic, I’m sorry you had to deal with that
